You guys have just as much to prove

I'm sick of Arizona and this whole me against the world thing they have going like they have more to prove and play for. Carolina needs this game to me even more then just Arizona just trying to "prove people wrong". I mean come on, its a blessing that Jerry Richardson gets to see these guys, I pray that he get to see a superbowl even in his darkest hours, he is a great man and best friend of our Owner Robert Kraft. And hey, Carolina needs this win for their growing city of Charlotte, the people, the fans, the kids, esp after loosing that Giants game to put some smiles on their faces, and alot of people without jobs here and so forth. The city of Charlotte needs something to believe in and celebrate and what greater than a Carolina Superbowl win or another Superbowl appearance. With only Nascar, (Bobcats stay have some ways to go, great job beating my Celtics though) and nothing else to cheer for and those players are stand up good character guys who fight the good fight and never give up. Carolina needs this win way more than Arizona IMO. Arizona is just trying to prove they belong. Carolina has worked towards getting back to this moment ever since Jake came back, and ever since coming 3 pts short of loosing the Superbowl. And what an inspirational story for Jake Delhomme who backed up Kurt Warner in NFL Europe to come back from TOMMY JOHN SURGERY of all things!

Is this a backhanded compliment? It seems as though you believe we need pity or something. I think Charlotte is in pretty good shape. It's not like we're Nawlins, Cleveland, Detroit or some other sh*t city.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
