Post em up. Im sure mine are very controversial and are 90% based on my instict and not much else. I am being optimistic about the Panthers, but thats what fans do. I also realize that I have a few entire divisions rated very low or very high and that isn't very realistic. This is just a guesstimate for fun regarding how the regular season ends. Playoffs is a whole other story IMHO.

1. Green Bay / Just a feeling on this one

2. Indy / is Indy

3. Chargers / Just a lot of talent here

4. Jets / This could be the Dark horse of the NFL this year. Kinda depends on Sanchez

5. Saints / Very well rounded team with Brees at the Helm

6. Ravens/ Seem to be getting better and better. Also had a great draft and did well in FA, IMO

7. Dolphins/ Going to suprise a lot of people this year

8. Panthers/ Homer. If we make it to the playoffs we could be the team no wants to play

9. Falcons/ Dont sleep on them they are a good well rounded team also

10. Cowboys/ I just cant bring myself to say anything good about them

11. Patriots/ Defence lacks leadership but they still have one hell of an offense

12. Redskins/ I expect them to challenge for the division this year

13. Texans/ Great air attack but something is still missing

14. 49ers/ Better than last year due to experience

15. Giants/ Division is just too stacked to really compete

16. Bears/ FA moves help but they lack cohesion and team mentality i.e. group of Mercenaries ala Cowboys

17. Raiders/ Have a lot of the pieces and I see them coming together this year

18. Bengals/ most star players are past their prime I think

19. Eagles/ Kolb has a few growing pains and they get swept by the Redskins

20. Steelers/ Injuries and suspensions kill the year

21. Jaguars/ still need a real franchise qb

22. Lions/ Improving

23. Cardinals/ QB is a big question here

24. Vikings / assuming no Favre

25. Bucs/ Also improving

26. Titans/ Going to be a bad year overall

27. Broncos/ Coach should be on a short leash after this year

28. Rams/ Just dont get it in my opinion

29. Browns/ Hey jake

30. Bills/ Growing pains

31. Seahawks/ see above

32. Chiefs/ Dismal outlook

1. Saints - Hate putting them here, but there is a reason they won the Super Bowl.

2. Chargers - Without LT holding them back, I think all the pieces fall into place and they finally see a Super Bowl.

3. Packers - Defensive collapse last year cost them their playoff run. With more experience in their defense I see them making another run.

4. Colts - Peyton Manning will win the division for them, get them to the playoffs, and likely lose it for them again. His regular season stats will be amazing though!

5. Vikings - Favre will be back and their team is still extremely solid. Will probably make it in as a wild card since Packers will take division.

6. Ravens - great defense, great off season

7. Texans - Great team that missed the playoffs because of a few missed last second field goals by their kicker.

8. Patriots - Tom Brady will get them to the playoffs, but it's up to the defense to take them past that.

9. Jets - They are the Falcons of last year. They are so ridiculously overhyped it's not even funny. I honestly see them missing the playoffs.

10. Cowboys - Will make the playoffs, but one & done.

11. Bengals - Might make the playoffs as a wild card, but that division belongs to the Ravens.

12. Giants - Good team, their defense will struggle.

13. Falcons - I think they'll compete for the division title & wild card.

14. Panthers - I think this spot is a good spot for the Panthers. Being objective a LOT of good things have to happen for the Panthers to make the playoffs. I'm guessing 9-7 is our record.

15. Dolphins - good team but tough division

16. Eagles - good team but they're pretty much in the same position as the Panthers. depending on a lot of new guys to step up is not a good thing.

17. 49ers - good team, will make playoffs because their division is a joke.

18. Steelers - lost their best WR, tons of drama going on with Ben and he'll be out at least 4 games.

19. Bears - overhyped, and in arguably the toughest division in the NFL. didn't have enough draft picks to improve the teams biggest needs(offensive line)

20. Titans

21. Cardinals

22. Redskins

23. Raiders

24. Chiefs

25. Broncos

26. Jaguars

27. Seahawks

28. Buccaneers

29. Lions

30. Rams

31. Browns

32. Bills

rest of the teams are interchangeable but all will more than likely miss the playoffs. don't feel like writing about every team. I think people know why the Browns/Lions/Rams/etc are bad :P

1. Jets / Easy #1 team IF Sanchez doesn't screw it up. It's Sanchez's year to show if he's real or not.

2. Chargers / Hopefully they won't screw themselves over in the playoffs again.

3. Colts / Great overall team.

4. Packers / So much talent, but can't seem to pull it together.

5. Saints / I wanna put them lower, but they're a good team.

6. Ravens / With the wide receiver problem behind them, they could be even higher than 6th.

7. Panthers / I don't see how people think we're so bad. Outside our QB situation, we have one of the best teams in the league. But this season all rides on Matt Moore's shoulders.

8. Vikings / Assuming Favre is still around. They will be out first round of the playoffs regardless.

9. Patriots / Well, they are the Patriots.

10. Cowboys / They're just a good team. Not great yet, though.

11. Falcons / Defense seems weak, but the offense is surprisingly strong.

12. Texans / Such a good team, but the defensive backfield is weak.

13. Bengals / Still a good team. Carson Palmer needs to keep it together, though.

14. Redskins / McNabb is the missing piece to the puzzle. Hopefully.

15. Eagles / As much as I think Kolb will be a bust, the team outside of the QB position is too strong to put them any lower.

16. Steelers / Again, the team outside of Big Ben is too strong to put any lower.

17. Chiefs / Yes, the Chiefs. They will greatly surprise this season. Mark my word. May end up even higher than this.

18. Dolphins / Not too bad, but not very good either.

19. Giants / Way overrated, but still not horrible.

20. Cardinals / Should still beat out San Fran, but watch out for their QB problem.

21. 49ers / I don't get all the hype. They're getting better, but they belong nowhere near the top 10.

22. Broncos / I wanna put them lower, but they really aren't that bad.

23. Bears / Could drop even more. Fairly strong defense, very weak offense.

24. Titans / Vince showed promise. Hopefully the defense stays strong and the WR situation is somewhat fixed.

25. Jaguars / They aren't terrible.

26. Bucs / They're getting better. Watch out for Derrick Ward.

27. Browns / Jake will be average, Browns won't be 32nd.

28. Raiders / Not looking good for those Raiders. But really not too bad.

29. Rams / They're growing very slowly.

30. Seahawks / They seem to be getting worse.

31. Bills / They're just walling apart.

32. Raiders / Not looking good for those Raiders.

How about these rankings at NFL.com? It took me a minute to find the Panthers if that gives you any hint.

That writer is practically cupping the balls while doing his oral duty to the big franchises. Seriously Wyche? You could at least try not to make it so obvious. How many times in the last decade have we finished that low? 0 is the answer.

No season worse than 7/9 IIRC

*Pretends we didn't finish 1-15 in 2001.*

I did forget about that. In my defense I was in South America for the better part of 2000-2003 so I wasn't really following closely. But I can't pretend I didn't hear about it. Just slipped my mind...... Or I repressed it.
