Yes. My backpack is a deadly weapon. I'm going to swing it at somebody and kill them. They're allowed at MLB stadiums. Heck, they're even allowed on airplanes.

I took a small backpack to the MNF game and to the Panther playoff Massacre, nothing was said to me....but I do know there are restrictions in size, i think it has to be 8" or 10" by 13"or 15"...look in your program book or on the website, that is where i found my info...

and they dont search well...MNF i had my bag open they looked in did not touch, the end. at playoffs they had a small light and moved a few things around with the light(careful not to touch anything with their hands). then asked me what was in the bag.

hope this helps for next season.;)

Yup, you can take them into an airplane....after passing through metal detectors and an xray machine.

They don't think you're going to hit someone with it, they're worried you would smuggle something dangerous into the stadium.

Plus I would think it would be a nuisance. Where would you put it?

That's the big thing after security. Everybody is squeezed in like sardines as it is and somebody carries so much sh*t with them for a three hour game that they need a backpack? If you need that much crap with you, you should just stay home, IMO...

Yeah - the no backpack thing is NFL wide. Sometimes it's enforced, sometimes not I guess. If a woman were to have a full sized backpack, she wouldn't be allowed to take it in as well. When the size restriction first started, the team store a cheap bag that was exactly that dimension with a logo on it. It was only $5 so I picked one up and I still typically use it to bring my stuff in. This year, one of the security guys questioned another about the size of it. Other guy said it was fine, but I was just hoping they'd tell me it was too big. I would have had fun with it.

Just imagine if 30,000 or 40,000 people carried backpacks into the stadium....it would become a safety hazard with people laying them down in the aisles and other people tripping over them.

You are not going to class....your attending a football game; why do you need to carry luggage to a game?

We always have a bag, but we've got a kid with us so we need to have her pom poms, a couple of growl towels, her panther paw gloves, her arm of harm, her binoculars. We also keep our own supply of straws, napkins, and lids for drinks (although this year they brought back lids so that wasn't a problem). And we bring in waters for all of us. When it's cold we have hand warmers, a scarf, we even usually take in a blanket. Plus, I like to have a bag to put whatever stuff I might get in there like game programs or giveaways.
