Win one for my Dad, Panthers!!

Not trying to bring anyone down here, but my dad died on Thursday, so I am in Alabama helping my mom. I won't be at the game (which in the grand scheme of things isn't a big deal) but will be watching from here.

My dad was a pretty big Titan's fan so I am rooting for them now as well, in fact he still gave me crap this year that we lost to the Titan's the last 2 times we played them.

There would be nothing better than a Panthers/Titans Superbowl to me. He would love that too. He'll have a good view now, that's for sure.

GO PANTHERS!!!

First off, you and your family are in my prayers, may God bless and keep you.

I'm not usually a Titans fan, but here's to that Panthers-Titans Superbowl. BTW, some of you stat monkeys should look up if teams from the same or neighboring states have met in a SB before...

So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My dad passed right before Thanksgiving and I miss him more each day. Also, I will swallow my dislike for Collins and cheer for the Titans today! I think a Panthers-Titans superbowl would be a great one.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
