The Carolina Panthers have released their training camp schedule, which starts a bit earlier than last summer.p/The Panthers will report to Wofford College on Wednesday, July 28, and the first practices take place July 29.

If he gives his famous cuts to the practice schedule I will be irked. He gave the team a ton of breaks last season and that didn't turn out well.

Keep in mind though we don't have a single player starting who hasn't had experience in the system already. Martin is the youngest and he seemed to be doing just fine.

The backups will need experience but they play a ton in preseason so we should be cool.

Does anyone know how to sign a kid up for the Panthers Pals thing? I have a 5'11", 210lb. nephew who turns 13 in mid-July that wants to play football his upcoming 8th grade year. I figure he's bound to be a lineman, and it might be something fun for him to do. I'm sure getting a few tips from guys like Gross and Otah could only help his enthusiasm.

Yes. Children ages 6-13 register at the tent right outside the main entrance gate to the practice viewing area. We pull 5 names and those kids get to go down to the field and watch from a close area, then are matched with players (randomly - could be vets, could be rookies).

We will be doing more this year. Once a day, instead of just the 9 a.m. practices.
