Not that bad. As mentioned earlier, it's the prep that's unpleasant, but even then, if you've had diarrhea before, you know the drill. You're knocked out for the entire procedure, so it's not like you feel anything. When I woke from the anesthesia, I laid in a hospital bed for 30 mins, got changed and went and had lunch. The fear of them finding something is a million times worse than any actual physical discomfort, and even then, unless you've been ignoring some serious pain or bleeding for months, anything they find is usually treatable or removable(sometimes during the colonoscopy...so two birds, one stone).
