Have you ever been in one of those...

I was in one of these last week...

I was on the phone and this lady, that frequently talks down to me and my coworkers like we are somehow beneath her in job status, comes up to my office with an attitude about something...

A. I was on the phone with my wife

B. I was on my lunch break

C. I didn't give a fug about what she was bitching about as it didn't concern me

D. I was just in a bad mood

I put her in her place after a diplomatic solution to her problem was met with backtalk...

Basically, after a few other choice words, I told her to "get the hell over it" as she exited my office...

5 minutes later, she sent me an apology email explaining how she was on some sort of medication and should not have had the attitude and talked to me the way in which she did...

Yes... This is the new me... I just don't give a fug anymore... If you are being a dumbass, I am going to tell you that you are...

    • I'm not saying Chubba want to resign here. To be honest I don't know why anyone would ever come to Carolina unless it was for a boat load of money and that person had no interest in winning. As for keeping Hubbard, I don't see a problems with it if the deal is reasonable pricewise. We have a 2nd round back coming off an ACL tear. We have no ide how he is going to play upon his return. These days you pretty much have to have 2 backs to ease the RB workload. The days of the 25-30 carry per game are long gone. Brooks contract is pretty cheap. If Hubbard came back around 4-5 million for 3 seasons that wouldn't break us.  And, if you did trade him at the deadline, what are you expecting in return? Most likely a 4th. Is that really going yo move the needle? Nope.  If a player want to be moved this season and you can get a good return, that's one thing. But the idea of trading "all expiring contracts today" is unreasonable. We don't have anyone on this roster who is going to fetch more than a 3rd/4th round pick. I don't see a player on our roster who is going to put another team over the hump. Furthermore, it's not like we have a FO with a good track record nailing their draft picks. If they did we wouldn't be in the current predicament.
    • Garbage for Garbage seems fair to me just not sure what fields contract status is.
    • It's all about his value. It only goes down if they play him. If he was the answer they would be playing him. That's it. Dalton is 37 in a week and headed towards retirement. If you remember him in NO then none of this is a surprise even with the fun Raiders game. Young isn't playable, they are trying some reps but it still looks really bad. He is already gone and a trade is better than a cut but he won't make it to the 53 next year. They will take a swing at a QB and they need a vet so they have options and CYA. We are picking 1 or 2. There is zero space in that equation for Young. I wasn't trying to come off as belittling or talking down to you. If I did I apologize but it's all the truth. If they aren't playing him after that last game it's obvious that is not the path. DC saying it's all about Dalton just confirms it.
