All the games is the one thing that majorly detracts from me watching much hockey. Unless it is the playoffs I just don't feel that any one game is important enough to spend the time watching unless it's a night I feel like doing nothing else.

totally agree...and thats why I can't get into baseball either!

I watch hockey during the regular season, but only if it's convenient or the Habs are playing Toronto or something. Basketball even less during the regular season.

Meh 82 is fine. Same as the NBA. I think each game is important enough. In baseball people say because of the 162 that each game is meaningless, but you focus more on taking the series there.

One of the best things about the NHL is unless your team is going to be picking #'s 1-3, you're always in the playoff hunt. even if your team is a few spots out, your team can get hot in the last 2 weeks, win 4-5 in a row and make it.

Yeah, and that pressure was a big part of why we couldn't pass. Man I want to watch some Hurricane playoff hockey again...

And game three gave me so much hope only to be dashed against the rocks.

Once you see a game in person you will get hooked for life! Hockey is the greatest live sport ever and nothing else comes close.
