I will try to be there also. I lived in Seattle and f**king LOVE the city. If I could live anywhere (thats realistic) it would be there. It is very very expensive to live there. Seattle is a very classy city, has the most that I have seen. It's a nice city very clean and no area you couldn't walk through due to crime or what have you. I haven't been there for about 7 years though and I have never been to their stadium so I hope its nice. Don't have tickets yet so wouldn't be able to tell you where I will be or if it's for sure etc. Tickets go on sale in one day though.

I live in Seattle, about 10 mins from Qwest field, I've lived here for the past 10 years, I made a similar thread awhile back, wondering who was going and talking about hosting a panther fan tailgate etc... I second the opinions about Seattle being a nice city etc... It's absolutely great, and yeah It's expensive but we also make a lot more money up here so it kinda balances out.

Anyway, if anyone needs any info or has any questions, or needs to find something when your here etc... let me know. By the way I'm excited as hell to go to the game, its been 5 years since Carolina has came to town, and of course that didn't go well, and the last time I saw a Panthers game in person was at Clemson Stadium (vs. niners)

My options are open for this game as well....I know primesport.com offers Panther packages to away games but I haven't checked the pricing ....they probably don't have quotes yet....but their stadium and city looks like it would be a great place to visit!

Woo! I have never been to Seattle and this is going to be fun!!!

awesome! Did you talk to Cosmo?

my recommendations...and some of the locals can jump in here too....I've had fantastic luck with Priceline and getting a 4* in the downtown area. You honestly can't go wrong getting anything in that category and the downtown area really is compact enough that you can easily walk to most of what you want to see and do...and if you get tired or it's rainy, everything is a cheap and easy to find cab ride. We've often jammed 4 or 6 people into a hotel downtown and just shared the costs...makes it much more $$$ manageable!

Pike Street Market is a must...

Been thinking about going to this one. If I do I'll probably just buy the tickets late off craigslist or ebay and fly there from LA for the weekend. I've always wanted to see Seattle, and getting a bunch of Panther fans/Huddle members together for a tailgate would be awesome. Let's bring a bit of our own 11th man to Qwest.

For anyone who has been to Seattle games though (Hawk, etc.) how is the atmosphere for opposing fans? I skipped out on the Carolina vs. Oakland game 2 years ago because.... well it's in Oakland.

That game in '05 was on Halloween, I remember the cheerleaders being dressed up in different costumes. Man, that game sucked for us...beautiful stadium and beautiful city though, I have to agree. Me and the fam will be heading up for this one too, just an 8 hour drive from Oregon for us. It will be awesome to see a good sized turnout for Panther fans, last time the turnout was weak.

I was there, but it was actually 2004, not 2005. I thought the number of Panthers fans there was pretty good considering the team was 1-5 and Seattle is so far.

Had a blast that weekend: Pikes Market, the Needle, the water, Pioneer Square was awesome. Halloween just added to it all.

And don't forget to get some "Garlic" fries when you are at Qwest. Great Stadium, althoug a little too artsy for me and plus any stadium with open air artificial turf can't possibly be in anyone's top 10.
