Need a new summer beer or mixed drink idea.

I like to explore and check out new stuff. No doubt I'm a Newcastle guy but this guy needs a new summer beer to partake in.

Same for a good mixed drink.

Try RJ Rocker's Son of a Peach. Its brewed here in Spartanburg and its delicious.

Get yourself a bottle of Jack and a 6 pack of Coke.

Pour about 2 shots of Jack into glass. Fill rest of glass with Coke. Insert umbrella and twisty straw if you want to be a fairy. Drink with ice.

I love sangria. I make a white peach sangria that's wonderful. It's a variation of the one you get at applebees. My next experiment will be the red apple sangria. I love regular sangria, too.

I quit drinking alcohol in 1994. Since then, I have had 3 & 1/2 beers.

But, if I was going to drink alcohol, Sangria would be my choice. Good stuff!

Any of the micro/macro summer beers are very nice. I don't like fruity beers at all so I recommend: Sierra Nevada Summerfest is very good, Mighty Arrow by New Belgium (strong too), and Brooklyn Summer Ale - some of my favorites.
