If memory serves, a lot of people wanted us to pick him in the 1st saying that we out performed Bush in the championship game. Instead, we picked Williams out of Memphis, who none of us had heard of, and all he does is go on to become the best back in the league. Kudos to Furney on that one!

i actually knew of deangelo back then, only caz he holds the NCAA recod for most all purpose yards. he was arguably the greatest college player of all time (at his position at the very least) and yet nobody had any idea who he was, caz he was overshadowed by bush.

i honestly didnt think deangelo had a shot in hell at coming to the panthers, when we got him i shat myself. its too bad he wasted 2-3 years behind foster.

In a way this reminds me of the Brian Cushing situation. What the hell is going on that it takes this long to get these facts out from the NFL? Once these timelines get to this point, who knows what is going on. The question now is whether or not the Titans released him because of this and whether the Seahawks were gambling on this not turning into a suspension. We won't know that because of the way the league handles the first offense for players (confidential). Any way you slice it, it's not helping the league or the players who stay clear of league discipline.

Not likely......Lendale isn't one to take performance enhancers, it's much more likely that he smoked a metric ton of weed before a drug test.
