Moore likes added twists in Panthers' offense

Our running game is great but it will be so much better if we can make defenses respect our passing game. We have one elite WR in Steve Smith but we have so many guys that are capable of making atleast 1 catch a game. If Smitty catches 6 passes and Dwayne Jarrett, Brandon LaFell, Armanti Edwards, Jeff King, Dante Rosario, Gary Barnidge, D-Will and J-Stew each catch 1 pass per game we would be really tough to stop. I hope Fox has finally realized that he can't run the ball 8 out of every 10 plays and make the playoffs.

Glad to hear they are expanding the passing game by replacing TE's with WR's in certain sets... but I'd also like to see us throw more passes to the TE's.

Barnidge showed last year that he can be a weapon in the passing game and the advantage to throwing to the TE is that it's easier to disguise what you're doing (run/pass) and easier to check out to a run play if the defense dictates that.

I am glad to see a greater focus being put on the passing game. With our running game, if we can have anything resembling a legit passing game we'll be tough to stop.

This has been on the observer all day, there were other threads that included links to this (i.e debate on roster spots and how many WR's we will keep - included a link to the observer on this particular story). You are late once again on news that everyone already knew about.

i hate people like you. it's a freakin' message board. i'm pretty sure there's enough room for a few repeat posts. and perhaps some people don't feel like searching for previously posted threads... ever thought of that? and if it's been posted more than once, people will eventually stop posting on a repeated post. however, if the other thread has been pushed down from other new threads, and people see this one first... does it really matter?

dick.

You realize this is the official "news bot" (it's not a bot but you get my point) right?
