Downgrade my internet speed from 3 Mbps to 385 kbps. I am steaming mad. They will be hearing from me tomorrow. I had been wondering why videos and such were loading so slowly.

What makes them think they can do this when I'm paying for 3 mbps? Anybody have a similar experience?:mad::mad::mad:

After doing a little research, and doing a factory reset on my modem and reactivating my DSL settings, I'm back up to a respectable 2.5 mbps.

Don't know who ratcheted down my speed, but it wasn't me.

I don't really understand the way DSL modems work, but the modem's max throughput shouldn't have been set at 385 kbps no matter how you slice it.

<< Still mad, might leave windstream if they can't give me a valid explanation in a bit.
