Portable pools?

good idea...but ya...tough to fill through that little breather hole...I'll have to see if I have an adapter of some sort or kick in my macgyver skills and make one!

Suggestion #2:

This will only work if you KNOW that they make patches for this pool and can properly patch it without fuging it up. Go ahead and cut a small slit in the TOP of the pool, just big enough for your hose. (Yes, I add that last sentence in a bid for some sophmoric humor.) Once you have found the small hole you can patch both of them. If you do this, try and find a spot that is reasonably flat so that the patch will hold better.

I was thinking of buying a bigger one...one with the plastic tubular frame thingy stuff....if so, I will come up with a way to "accidentally" kill the other....first though...fill with water...make it look like I am refilling air ring with propane bottle!

Have you tried doing the soapy bubble bs while forcing compressed air into the pool? Not so much that it would explode but say, maybe, from a bicycle pump. Just enough so that more air would be forced to escape than what is normal through the tear allowing for more bubblage.

Last year, I had the exact one LIAG has. Loved it but thought it was going to take up more space than it did when I got it installed. Wished I'd have gotten the next size but they don't allow returns to the store.

This year, I'd planned to get the same one in the next or next size. But then decided for the Intex Metal Frame Pool in the 10x30. Holy poo. I can't believe the size difference!!! Mainly because of the surface area. We can easily get 4 floats in there for adults. Since I put it in, I've had friends asking to come over every weekend. AND I have a very nice Olympic sized neighborhood pool! But they prefer this one. Plus with the metal frame, it is more forgiving if your patio isn't completely flat. And believe it or not, the frame is an easier setup than the Easy Set because installing the frame autmatically helps with getting the bottom smoothed out.

However, they aren't very fond of being left out all winter - especially the pump. :(

weird how those pumps don't like to freeze up....I'm guessing it cracked and you had to get a new one?!

I have a spot in the yard flat enough for a bigger one so think I'm going with yours Cosmo!

Amazing, huh? I was planning on replacing it for the bigger one anyway but was going to at least give the old one away. Pump was done. Plus the grossness of not being cleaned didn't seem to be overcome.

The frame one rocks. If you get the bigger one, I've got a ladder that I bought but decided I didn't want. It's awkward getting in and out with my height but not needing the ladder.

If you check out my photos on my fb page, I have this year's model on it. I may go float tonight seeing as my A/C is out - yet again.
