Hunter, no question about it.

I think he's going to be a massive diva in this league, especially when he doesn't get his way of being a full time 2 way player.  I also think he's more hype than reality because people can't separate his collegiate impact with his potential NFL impact.  He's a true generational collegiate talent, but I don't see that translating to the NFL myself.

But the bigger reason that people just seem to not want to talk about or just flat out ignore, he's going to be a rookie next year, but in the body of someone starting their 4th season in the league already.

He takes twice the amount of wear and tear on his body every year due to playing both ways, so it's essentially like he's already played 6 seasons worth of football past high school.  He's going to breakdown much faster than other players, even if he stays on one side of the ball moving forward as he already has more wear and tear on him.

I don't think it's exactly a 2:1 translation but I see your point. Year 1 also was at JSU which for a guy of his talent is really just another year in HS.

How is it not a 2:1?

He hasn’t been a part time player on either side, he’s been full time, so he’s played twice the number of snaps as any other 3 year player.

If anything you could make the argument that it’s closer to 3:1 than anything because he’s taken the physical impact of playing both positions, but without the break other players get when their side of the ball is off the field.

So he plays double the amount but without the in game recovery time every other player gets.

Hunter is EASILY the best player in this draft what are you guys talking about?? Lol

I honestly don’t think he’s the best WR or CB in the draft, I’d take T-Mac and Johnson over him at each position respectively.

If you want to argue him being the best player because he can play both ways, that’s more fair, but as I’ve said a million times, if he tries to play both sides in the NFL it will both limit his potential on each side and will lead to a shorter career as he’s going to get hurt given his thin frame.

DEs always scare me. Seems like the miss rate is high (just my anecdotes, not evidence based). Seem to take 3 years to get good if they ever do.

Any injured guys! Don't care how good they are.

I pounded the table for McMillian but I dont think he's a true number one now. In that case it's a big overpay.

Nolan or Graham are the only ones I feel comfortable on, tbh.

Because that obviously isn’t how wear on the body works. It isn’t a linear yearly thing therefore allowing you to multiply by 2 or 3. He’s still 21 years old

If you don't think taking twice the amount of hits than other players do doesn't wear your body down faster than your biological age, then you're fooling yourself.

Why are you so aggressive lol I never said that, you are going off on a completely new argument now. I said 2:1 isn’t realistic. Of course playing both ways takes more toll on the body. It also doesn’t count as 2 full years of football on a 19/20 year old, that’s just silly.

I'm worried were gonna take Shemar Stewart. Ticks all the boxes Morgan likes size, length and killed it at the senior bowl. He should of done more in college

I usually lean towards killing it at the Senior Bowl over guys that were a little sketchy on production in college, to a point.

You gotta go back and figure out if this is a practice warrior(Ian Thomas) or there was some reason they didn't produce where they were at.

Typically guys that crush at the Senior Bowl do well at the next level.

Not big on any RB early. I think QB is off the board unless it’s a late round developmental player which is good, but any other prospect would have an impact although the baggage with Hunter may be prohibitive.

Good point--I think this draft is great for us at this time--At the top of the draft, the DT (DEs/NTs in 3-4) are loaded.  The Edges are deep.  We need to double dip there--hoping to move back so we can add three players to that pool.  In free agency, if I were Morgan, I would focus on DBs and  ILB--fix the back end of the defense.  If he signed a S, CB, ILB, and TE, it would be cost effective.  In the draft, DE, Edge, and WR should be the priorities.  After that, OL Depth, QB depth, DB depth, RB depth.

My Free agent Targets:

TE: Juwan Johnson, Saints.  29, had over 500 yards with Saints.

S: Julian Blackmon, Colts.  He will be one of the top free agents--gonna cost us, but not like an edge or WR.

ILB: Tyrel Dodson, Dolphins.  80 tackles on just 854 snaps--under 27 years of age.

CB: Mike Jackson, Carolina.  He is 28 and had 3 picks and was on the field at all times.  68 PFF score.

NT:  best available for Evero's system.

Travis had 95 rec for 1258 and FIFTEEN TD's Tet had 84 rec for 1319 and 8 TD's. So Hunter had more yards AND touchdowns while playing BOTH ways!! Lolol what are we even talking about here?? And Johnson is a very good zone corner playing behind a good Michigan Dline but as far as manning up 1v1 locking down a receiver it's Hunter and it's not close!! Hunter is literally the best WR AND CB in this draft.
