CLEVELAND (AP)—LeBron James dropped a long 3-pointer with 47.4 seconds left and added two free throws with 8.7 seconds to go as the Cleveland Cavaliers improved to 30-1 at home with a 97-93 win over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night.

With Cleveland trailing 93-92 in a game soaked in playoff intensity, James, wearing green and white Nikes to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, pulled up in front of Orlando’s bench and coldly knocked down his 3. Magic center Dwight Howard was called for a 3-second violation on Orlando’s next trip, giving the ball back to Cleveland.

James was then fouled while shooting and made his two free throws as the crowd serenaded him with chants of “MVP.”

After dropping a triple double on TNT Thursday night against the Blazers. King James puts up 22 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in Cleveland's win over our division rival Atlanta Hawks Saturday night. The Cavs have won 8 straight, are 32-1 at home, and have the best record in the league. King James still campaigning hard for MVP.

Any time I watch the Lakers it just seems like Kobe just heaves shots up whenever he pleases. He takes terrible shots all the time. I don't know his field goal percentage but I would have to imagine that it is lower than King James'.

James 48.8 % from the field and 33 % from three, 77.0 % from the FT line

Bryant 47.2 % from the field and 34 % from three, 86.9 % from the FT line

Wade 49.2 % from the field and 30 % from three, 76.4 % from the FT line

There's the shooting percentage stats for the season for the Big 3 in the MVP race.

As for other stats that I think are notable Wade and Bron average over 3 TO per game while Kobe is at 2.6 per game. While Wade and Lebron are both averaging over a block a game while Kobe isn't.

He will never be the Best do it aller in NBA history unless he get's his averages close to the 30 point 9 assist and 9 rebound per game mark Like Mr Oscar did. Bron might become the best ever if he can win some championships, but he won't be the best do it all player IMO, that's Mr. O

Trailing 62-48 at halftime, the Lakers went on a 12-0 run to cut it to three after Salmons started the third quarter with a free throw for Chicago. They got as close as one midway through the period and finally tied it at 89 on back-to-back 3-pointers by Sasha Vujacic and Odom less than two minutes into the fourth.

The Lakers took their first lead since the early stages on a three-point play by Luke Walton that made it 92-91. After Ben Gordon made two free throws, the Lakers answered with 14 straight to put away Chicago—and their backups led the charge.

Farmar hit two 3s and capped the run with dunk that made it 106-93 with 4:22 left, while the Bulls also committed three straight turnovers at one point during that stretch.

“It’s a long trip and we’re going to need our second unit to play the way they’re capable of on nights when it’s kind of a seesaw battle like that,” Bryant said. “Our depth is one of our greatest features.”

Their second unit, Gordon added, “is not an average second unit. They got the job done when Kobe was over there resting.”

It was a difficult loss for the Bulls, who seemed poised to knock off another contender.

Really no interest in an MVP trophy anyway. Lebron is welcome to it. The better team will win this year.
