This is Mike Craft with your panthers.com inside report. The Panthers plan on playing 11 players on both offense and defense in 2010, including Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Runningback, and Defensive Tackle to name a few. There are a number of players competing for these positions, some black, some white. Some fat, some skinny.

This has been Mike Craft for panthers.com, remember to check back in all off-season for more inside reports.

I think it is a good thing its closed to the media. We have a lot of young guys and a lot of new faces out there. Right now Fox wants them concentrated on learning the playbook and playing football. It pains me as a diehard fan to not have media covering it, but I do think its in the best interest of the team to not have all the distractions that come with the media. Matt Moore can take extra reps after practice as oppose to taking part in some terribly uncomfortable interview.

I just want the preseason to get here!!!! Then we will really start to get an idea of who is the real deal. I'm starting to grow on Armanti Edwards. Every instinct in my body tells me no, but what if what if he is a poor man's Steve Smith. That would be huge for this team.
