Hey if the question was "Who would you rather still have on the team?" I'd say Peppers, but that wasn't the question, was it? In the long run I'd take my chances with Jake over Peppers anytime.

There is no reason to argue who thinks what its just opinion. I will miss Peppers more.

I always wanted a team with more skill at QB even if it meant less intangibles. Jake was good for a couple years but he was always handing it off as well. I want a QB that can pass it the whole game or most if he has to, and try and use more tools on the team other than Smitty. I missed Jake after 08. I miss Pepper's ability to shut down games even if he is an underachiever.

I remember this one time when Julius PEPPERZ had an absolute MONSTER year. I can't remember but I think it was during the year 2007? Man Peppers was just UNSTOPPABLE that season. Don't you guys agree?

Yeah like bring the team to multiple playoff victories and it's first Super Bowl appearance and playing lights out in it, only to be let down by the defense.

Watch what I do guess what was the best unit and reason we went on that run. The qb managed the game but the d put us in position to be successful.that d put us in the playoffs and into the superbowl guy. And who was apart of that unit ........ Pep.

If the question was "who was a more likeable guy" Id say Jake. But the question was "who are you going to miss more". I will take my chances on Peppers production over Jakes INTs any day of the week.

i'm disagreeing you both. if it wasn't for john kasay i'm not sure we win most of those games in 03 although both the d and qb helped

Pep had another bad/average season. He had sacks but 8 of 14 were from Lions who went 0-16 and Tampa who was 2-12 or something like that.

teh situation: Perpper's potential vs. actual production= multiple bad seasons. Jake's potential vs. actual production= excellent career.

stats and numbersdont tell the whole story though. during his career, PROBABLY 85% of peppers sacks came in just a few games a season. usually against bad teams. julius also didnt have really good numbers in the playoffs, but jake raised his game in the playoffs, and for years had the highest playoff QB rating in the league, of course until 2008 messed up his average.

jake didnt have the numbers that peppers did, but the truth is that jake was a warrior on and off the feild. the whole team went out and gave they're all for jake when he got them fired up. his leadership will be missed more than peppers numbers will be.

Sorry that I care more about on the field production over running past players on a hill at practice and a few ass slaps.
