Which Panthers team are you most proud of?

Meaning which year. I expect a lot of 1995s, 96s, 03s, 04s, 05s and 08s. Wondering which of those will win out, though.

To be honest? Last years team. Fought through the BS of last year to get to 8-8 says alot about the character of the team and I hope none of that was lost for the upcoming year.

The team that made me the most proud was the 04 team. Fought through all the injuries and a 1-7 start to finish a game out of the playoffs.

For me it is the 04 team and the 96 team. The 04 team because they fought through so much and played so well at the end of the year with backups and nobodies. They really set the stage for 2005.

But I am also very proud of the 1996 team. They were the best defense we ever fielded in my opinion and at one point in the year were 5-4 and basically going nowhere. Then we rip off 7 wins in a row, beat the Cowboys in our first playoff win ever before losing to Favre and Green Bay in the NFC championship. That year we became a legitimate team.

What a team goes through when it is fighting through adversity says more than anything. It is also not easy to coach through those type of seasons. That is really where fox has done some of his best coaching.

2004. I still say at the last qtr of the season that Panthers team was probably the most solid team we've had. We had tons of guys over achieving, but it was probably the most balanced offense I've seen from us since Beurline was QBing for us. We were red hot and the fine young male ass Saints had to ruin our playoff hopes.

'96. It was great seeing a second year franchise out perform the two perennial NFC powerhouses of that time. (Knocking the 'Boys out the playoffs and taking the division from the 9ers)

'05 for me, we had a badass defense and Steve Smith had the most Steve Smith season of his career. We shut the Giants out in the playoffs and then Smitty got like 200 yards against the bears. If the injury bug didn't hit during the playoffs I think we would have easily won the super bowl.
