no way does a QB go in the first round. maaaaaybe 2nd but not first....unless it is in a start 2 QB league or the QB points are through the roof.

not one league that i am in will a QB go in the first unless there is some novice that comes in but that isn't too often at all.

there will be more WRs in the first round, though. first four picks will most likely be )(in no particular order) chris johnson, adrian peterson, ray rice, and maurice jones-drew. after that it is pretty much a crap shoot.

If there are more than 6 teams in the league, Manning and Brees will go in the 1st.

Then Hines Ward.

actually, manning seems to be going later in the ESPN mocks i've done. he's down the list a bit. brees and rodgers seem to be the first two off the board and then brady is often next. There are 2 QB's within the 4 positions of ranking behind him, as he is to the 1 in front of him meaning he's less close to the top 2 guys as he is to the rest of pack immediately behind him.

Current overall rankings

9 Brees

16 Rodgers

20 Manning

23 Brady

24 Schaub

28 Rivers

588 Moore

yesterday, i drafted 5th and got Gore, DeWill, and then Schaub with no problem getting the #5 QB in the 3rd and then Moore in the 16th (last) round. I've never seen Moore drafted other than by me in the final round so he'll be available on the waiver wires for the first week or two until he proves himself worthy of being on a roster. I plan to pick him up late. his upside is much higher than say a 16th round RB or WR. this also allows me to take my kicker in the 15th meaning i can get one of my top 2 or 3 kickers rather than the 8th or 9th if i am selecting late in the round.
