Carries are now shared among several players, not just one. In many cases, this scenario devalues the running back position in fantasy football. Sure, DeAngelo Williams is one of the most talented runners in the NFL. In fact, he led his position with 270 fantasy points in 2008. But how much confidence can you really have in him to post solid numbers on a consistent basis with Jonathan Stewart also in the Panthers' backfield mix? In fact, Williams' 2009 numbers went down to 166 fantasy points, while Stewart rose from 135 in 2008 to 178 in 2009.

If you put Williams and Stewart in featured roles on two different teams, you're looking at two surefire first-round selections. But with both players in the same backfield, even in the run-based Panthers' offense, owners are certain to deal with some frustration.

I don't know. I've never paid much attention.

Just what is wrong with wearing them anyway? I don't, but then again, I don't have a couple thousand to drop on some decent jewelry.

Chris Johnson had like 360 carries last year... You had better have a rabbit's foot, 4 leaf clover, and a horseshoe handy if you think he is going to make it through the year. Thats unless they find someone to share the load. However he should definitely be the first 1 or 2 RB's selected.

That is one of the reasons I don't follow fantasy football. What may be good for a football team isn't in fantasy football and vice versa. Look at our secondary for example. They won't put up big individual numbers because we play a cover 2 scheme. Yet we have a highly ranked pass defense. Other players in much poorer schemes get bigger numbers because they play man and frequently blitz. Besides the whole rooting for players and not teams goes against my grain.

no way does a QB go in the first round. maaaaaybe 2nd but not first....unless it is in a start 2 QB league or the QB points are through the roof.

not one league that i am in will a QB go in the first unless there is some novice that comes in but that isn't too often at all.

there will be more WRs in the first round, though. first four picks will most likely be )(in no particular order) chris johnson, adrian peterson, ray rice, and maurice jones-drew. after that it is pretty much a crap shoot.

i understand your point. nothing will ever change my love for the panthers, but the cool thing about FF, and probably the reason it was created, is because it gives you a reason to watch games that otherwise you wouldnt be interested in. it helps you learn about other teams other than the panthers. i have learned alot about football from playing over the years.

People say the same thing about Madden as well. Not a big fan of that either. Oh well.................

      Try to trade back, but in order of preference... Mason Graham, DL, Michigan - Possibly the top DT in the draft Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State - TE1 plus clear top 10 talent in this draft class that fills a need. Can block, open up things underneath, run after the catch, and run the seam. Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College - My favourite EDGE prospect to have scouted this offseason outside of 2023 JT Tuimoloau and 2024 Abdul Carter. Let him rotate behind Clowney/Wonnum and then potentially start on the weakside. Jalon Walker, LB/EDGE, Georgia - Would fit Evero's scheme insanely well and pair well with Wallace who could be the coverage LB while Walker is the guy that the QB has to guess if he's coming or not. Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State - Will immediately fill in for AT once he's gone (or if he goes down) and is able to run a large portion of the route tree. Malaki Starks, S, Georgia - His freshman + sophomore tape is elite and he'd immediately start as FS1. Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia - Loooooooong arms and other traits that gives him the prototypical build that scouts loves. Also showed elite tape as a freshman as a 3-4 OLB, showed out well as a sophomore, but his recent season he played with an injured ankle all season long. Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M - Insane measurables, solid pressure rate, good run stopper, but there's questions galore about that pressure to 4.5 sacks rate. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan - Mike Jackson's deal allows him to be cut after just one season if the Panthers find a partner to put across from Jaycee Horn. James Pearce Jr, EDGE, Tennessee - Lots of questions due to recent reports regarding character and coachability, but performed against top SEC talent at a position of need for the Panthers. Armand Membou, OT, Missouri - Word is that Moton's knee is done and the Panthers need to find an RT for life afterwards. The preferred method would be to bring in a guy to develop behind Moton for a season, but having Membou means having a big body that can plug in right away should Moton go down. This would leave Christensen to take over at any other spot on the line should there be another injury.
