Everette Brown: Importance of learning from mistakes

poo guys, you turn a comment about his motor and speed into a "HE'S TOO SHORT GUYS, HE'LL NEVER BE LIKE TRENT COLE"

6'3 270 isn't THAT big of a difference over 6'1 260. You said he was 6'1 256, but I'm pretty sure he was that size coming into the NFL. I remember hearing he was at least 260 a couple months ago.

Who care about his size?? As long he can play & make good hit to help our defense, that's all that matter. Hell, I wouldn't care if we got this guy if he could help our defense big time.

A point that we already discussed and agreed on. Size and strength do matter but understanding your strengths and weaknesses and using proper technique can overcome any issues. FWIW- techniques you use against one guy this week won't work next week against a guy who is very different in makeup and skill set, so it about individual matchups which change from week to week.

How does any thread go off on a tangent? One person says something, another elaborates, and off we go. It is the offseason.

Lighten up, Francis.:cheers2:

You really do like to argue with everyone on here, don't you?....as do I. :D

His analogy was talking about a high motor guy that could provide pressure.....you immediately begin talking about how Cole is a few inches taller and a few pounds heavier....both of which was not relevant to the OP's comment. He did not say that Brown was physically like Cole....jsut that he could provide some of the same attributes (motor and pressure).

I was commenting on a related issue. I didn't comment on the motor issue. I don't always parrot what other's say or keep the conversation to the original point. I didn't realize it was a requirement to post here. And why do you feel need to argue the point for him?

Can't let it go?

Like I said earlier, Lighten up Francis.
