Is Panthers linebacker Davis already back?

This has to be one of the quickest recoveries for an injury like that. Wow.

Davis is a beast

I concur. Glad his recovery is coming along nicely & he hasn't lost a speed much. Hopefully the speed from running just a straight line will still translate to playing on the field when the season start.

As a few folks have said, straight line speed isn't where Davis will struggle. As someone who had this surgery, it took much longer to gain lateral strength and the ability to cut quickly than to be able to run in a straight line. Honestly we will know he is back when he takes a shot on the knee from the side and doesn't feel pain or get reinjured.

With all of that aside, I hope he comes back totally by training camp, we will surely need him to play his best and fully recover. Obviously this is a good sign but not evidence he is all the way back.

This demonstrates what a hard worker TD is. It's rare to find a guy with his level of talent and a strong work ethic, that combo usually results in greatness.

Not to mention he has a good chip on his shoulders & want to stay here. Didn't we heard not too long that he's not in a hurry to wait for a new contract? I like that kind of player on our team. :)

The fact that he is in a contract year probably is the best news. He will play hard to get paid this year. I wish richardson would lock him up now before his price goes up if he has a great year.
