The Eagles just showed how important building from the inside out really is.

We finally got the OL to compete. Time to do the same with the DL.

The eagles O-line and d-line were built in the draft filled with 1st/2nd rounders

Dave gentlemen was right in that "big men allow you to compete" and "hog mollies". but too bad his scouting abilities were terrible

Scouting and all around talent evaluation has been bad for a long time.  Hurney (*swallows vomit) kept us afloat with home runs in the 1st round.  We don’t even have that anymore.

Carter was a God send for them for where he was picked, sometimes luck factors in as well

Dave Gentlemen took the Hog Mollies a little too serious, he draft one at the WR position, Kelvin Benjamin. Look how that turned out. Also, one of the biggest bust of all time is Vernon Butler, my god what was he thinking?

Mays stepping up was huge.  Expect him to improve.  He seemed to be accepted by the OL, especially Hunt.  that is a good sign.  He had a 75 PFF pass blocking grade and a 67 run blocking grade.  That is starting material for a developing center.
