Yeah but apparently it's one of the deepest RB classes in several years, I wouldn't be mad if they took one rounds 5-7

The deep draft class may drive the price down on free agent RBs.

If I could get Javonte Williams to come home for 3 years/~11mil, I think I take it. I’m aware he doesn’t look like the same player prior to his knee injury, but the guy is only 24 years old. I think he’d be a great pairing with Chuba. If Brooks shows he’s healthy and productive in 2026, Javonte’s contract would be easy to move for a pick at the deadline with 1.5 years left.

Do you have reason to believe he wants out of Charlotte? I haven’t seen anything like that rumored.

Thats not what I am saying.  Just that the numbers/solution posted above probably isnt going to be that clean.   And furthermore we dont need to be giving a 31 year old tackle 40 million guaranteed.   Ive said it 1000X on here.   We are not winning poo this year, stop chasing the dragon, build the roster and get your cap situation in order.  Bite the bullet let moton play out his current deal and reevaluate from there.  Quit giving out these dumb ass contracts.

Signing a guy like Josh Sweat isn't as farfetched as some might think. First of all, Vic Fangio was their DC, and Evero worked under him in San Francisco. Secondly, The Eagles understand continued success means letting talented players leave because they can't afford them.

If the Panthers make Sweat an aggressive offer, I could see him considering the Panthers. Although I think Philly will make him a priority to re-sign.

I'm not going to rule it out.
