If someone offers 3 or 4 picks, and I truly think they will, do we trade the 8th pick? I think we can get a 1st, 2nd and probably a 4th and 5th this year for that pick. Would you do that trade?

Not if we are trading way back in the first, if we are just dropping back a couple spots then sure. 

Im not dropping down to 20+ for a 2nd and some throwaway picks. If its a playoff team they def have to throw in next years first.

Middle of the 1st really doesn't sound too much different than 8 talent wise from the rumblings if one of the top guys doesn't fall. Some team needing a CB or WR might make that trade, picks I am hoping we avoid. Getting a 2nd would be a big bonus. Not sure when the teir 2 guys drop off in this draft but it sounds like it runs through most of the 2nd. Anything 20 or before could net a sweet haul without moving too far back. In a more top loaded draft I wouldn't be for it but this one sounds lite on teir 1 guys and heavey on teir 2 guys.

Picks 11-16 all day. Not much further than that unless the deal is too good to pass up.

I think if Carter and Graham is gone it makes too much sense not to trade down. Panthers need so many positions filled that reaching at 8 is the one thing they cannot do.

I’m fine trading back but there is a big difference in the talent available at 8 and 15 in this draft. If there’s a future All Pro at 8 you don’t trade back, ever.

Always happy to trade back. In the end if you hit wherever you draft it doesn’t matter. This team needs a lot of talent whether it’s superstars or role players

I'd be willing to go as far 20-25 if the package is good enough. We need lots of bodies, and the more players we draft, the better chance we hit on a few of them. If we drop to say 25, but pick up a 2nd and 3rd this year and throw in the 1st or maybe even 2nd next year, I think that's a win. Lots of teams only needing a player or 2 will be calling at number #8. Lots of 1st rd talent all the way thru the middle to end of second rd this year. Deep at DT, Edge, and S this year. And we need all of that!

I'd love to trade back if the best players available are OT or Jeanty. But if teams are trying to move up for because one of the better prospects slipped were better off taking them

if there is no elite players left at 8, who's going to want to trade up?  Moving into the top 10 is expensive in terms of draft capitol.  If Dart falls, there may be a chance someone would roll the dice
