meh RotS was great... PM and AotC were okay...

Where he messed up was catering to the kids with the first one, whereas the original trilogy was mostly geared towards an adult audience...

I can't really fault him for knowing how to rake in the dough, but I can fault him for dumbing it down a little...

I thought PM was the best of the prequels if you can get over Jar-Jar, closely followed by RotS if you can get over Hayden's puppet acting. AotC was a steaming pile of poo. All three were mediocre though.

And I agree about lack of space battle. At the beginning of RotS when they do the reveal into the battle of Coruscant I was stoked, then so sad when it only lasted 2 minutes.

So how long until Lucas needs more money and we see 7, 8, and 9? I remember hearing he referred to SW as a 9-film series in an interview after Return, but what's the accepted Canon for post-Return SLJ? The empire obviously won't just dissolve, a new leader will just step in.
