Which side are you on: Gayle Sayers or Brian Urlacher???

It is funny how it is fine for gale Sayers to tell it like it is but when people like me do the same about the Panthers, I get criticized for being negative. Truth is the Bears are going to win more than the Panthers this year. Tag it so we can discuss after the season.

Sayers is right in his criticism of the wide receivers and some positions but I do think Chicago will be better this year. They have a pass rush and with martz at the helm the offense will be better. How much better remains to be seen.

I didn't see Sayers quoted predicting the Bears to miss the playoffs. He just stated some facts, didn't make stupid, negative predictions.

But yeah, we should give you as much cred as Sayers, what were we thinking??

Lets look at some differences, no one asks you for your opinion, and your not an NFL HOFer. Next what truths have you told?

I don'r need to be asked and NFL HOFers aren't necessarily better at picking teams or [predicting winners than I am. Look at the talking heads on Sunday. They don't even agree with themselves.

What truths have I told, that we are not a playoff team and Chicago will be.

BTW did anyone ask for your opinion? Didn't think so...............

Bears will be the 3rd best team in their division at best. They will not make the playoffs, and neither will we likely unless we somehow take the division. The wild card record is going to be set pretty high, so I really doubt 9-7 will get us in. Hell, even 10-6 might not get you in.

Anyways, as for the Sayers situation. Yo, Urlacher, you're allowed to talk poo about championships when you have one yourself. Lmfao.

lets again look at some things. ok, you asked a question (unaddressed to anyone), so I answered. you offer your opinion (which no one asks of you) and so you get responses, mostly negative. thats the difference. and an NFL HOFer has more credibility than you (and the rest of us), whether you like it or not.

and you have no good reasons for us not to be a playoff team. our starting QB will not have thrown 20+ ints. our starting MLB (who is the anchor of our D) wasn't on IR last season. not to mention we won 1 more can than the Bears and peaked at the end of year with 10+ players on IR. so your logic is flawed.

Actually I didn't ask you anything. You volunteered an opinion and so did I. I didn't disagree with Sayers and actually agreed about the receivers. I just mentioned that they would make the playoffs which he didn't even address.

But let me be clear. I agree that Cutler, the offense and the receivers underacheived. I also agree that the defense was hurt and missing alot of pieces. I think that they done quite a bit to shore up the defense which will help the offense. I also think that martz will get the offense rolling and help Cutler have a good year. hence why they will be a playoff team.

I have plenty of reasons and have enumerated them before. Truth is that just about everyone out there agrees with me but people here.

Too young, too inexperienced, too little depth to be brief. Pefect recipe for a 7-9 or 8-8 season.

Time will tell but stop being so butthurt when I don't think we are going to the playoffs, In fact all the NLF HOFers will likely agree with me. I don't see anyone saying we will be, do you??
