I have no issues or concerns with what he said.

He says what he means and means what he says….he always has, listeners can do what they want with it.  He has never been an apologist and ever will be

having owned PSLs,  well I agree with him  I sat through a whole lot  poo shows…could see the business decisions being made…a lot of us did….

In any case, this is ‘Murica.  He can say anything he wants

Who knows where his story ends or how but he has a few things other players don’t    MVP  Heisman  Collegiate championships  etc

I didn’t hear  the clip

…but is it really so out of context to say a team that had the number 1 pick was a room full of losers…given that they didn’t trade up

I mean as Parcells said ‘you are what your record says you are ‘

…If the team didn’t trade up and they had the number one pick well…ergo they collectively aren’t winners

extenuating circumstances of course but the truth is via the record, losers

Disagree with this. People should remember JR fuged this team hard that year as a business first over winning owner, he was preparing for the lockout, signed no FAs, no help, and extended no one. This team was severely crippled….for a lockout that never happened.

But a lot of those players weren’t losers or didn’t know to prepare by any means. Cam and smitty are both beast, competitive players and both are also divas and self centered. We know this more so about smitty and I’d be willing to bet there is a lot about Cam too we just don’t know.

Cam just keep digging the hole. He should have just said he misspoke and that he knows there were plenty of winners on that team.  I mean Smitty himself was largely responsible for 2-3 greatest seasons we had in our history.   I'm really disappointed with his lack of emotional intelligence, he has no business being on TV making a fool of himself.

I'll always love what Cam brought to the Panthers but this is spot on. He's doubling down on a bad take. "You are what your record is", really? We all know how bullshit that is, and Cam's number of winning seasons is exactly evidence of that IMO.

A lot of Cams' teammates have been extremely supportive of him and helped fight the narrative he was a selfish player, and then he comes out and does this? Just such bad form.

What is there to disagree with?

every poor performing team in the NFL has extenuating circumstances

No matter the owner or actions, players get paid well to perform

no different then the fortune 500 companies  i worked for

no one cared  that  we had a shitty CEO..we had to perform

go look at the 2011 roster

You will find it pretty hard  to disagree  with what he says

10 players out of 52 performing is poor

he has a right, earned  the right probably more than any of us where the Panthers are  concerned, to say what he feels

I sat and watched a lot of half assed effort  we all  did   My fault i did  i bought into the nfl hype

To say otherwise, is not being honest

Whats Cam's record at CAR?

Dude is mad dumb.

We should have never drafted him.

He was definition of inconsistent.

He can say what he feels, but he's not saying "the previous year, the team wasn't very good" he directly called his teammates out and in a way that is flat-out not true. "You are your record"? Oh ok, he's only had 3 winning seasons, but in my mind he isn't a loser, and I bet he isn't in his either - cause football is a team sport and wins and losses are on the team, even when one really bad player (Jimminy Pickles) can basically screw over everything.  And this comes on the heels of his thing about the MVP, which is fine, but also selfish.

His teammates consistently went to bat for him... Just feels like he's more about himself.

He can say what he wants to, and we can call him out for being a self absorbed ass. The team was bad but there was a lot of guys who gave it their all and knew how to prepare, there just wasn’t enough of them.

When he joined the team it was documented that he initially was a poor leader himself, essentially had to be talked to and coached up to become a leader by Thomas Davis.

Also, Cam was the one who made one of the biggest business decisions in Panthers history in the Superbowl, while everyone else did everything they could to get that fumble. So this overall is pathetic from him, and very disappointing overall.
