I think alot of people forget what a shitshow that 2010 season was.

Looks like they forgot 2008 - 2011 entirely.

Over on defense there was Charles Johnson, pre-assault charges Greg Hardy, Jon Beason, Dan Connor, Chris Gamble, Thomas Davis, and Captain Munnerlyn. All were on both the 2011 + 2012 rosters. Same with Gross/Wharton/Kalil on the OL, Smitty/LaFell at WR, and Double Trouble at RB.

Not to mention there was a lot of the same talent from the 12-4 2008 season on that roster. Hard to call that a locker room full of losers, guys that don't want to win, guys that didn't want to prepare... especially when John Fox's lame duck season and CBA lockouts followed shortly after. That 2-14 team lost TD, Connor, Otah, DWill, and Wharton all two season ending injuries. Matt Moore also went down which is what forced Clausen + Pike to start (before Keith Null and Brian St Pierre limped the team to the finish line). Moore had ended 2009 4-1 with an 8:1 TD:INT ratio after Jake broke his finger.

It's insane to me that Cam would've even suggested that his teammates were losers, especially given how much former teammates have talked him up. It was very much a talking head hot take but if it's what he truly believes... ooh wee mayne.

Cam needs to shut up but he won't. He's trying way too hard to stay relevant in the media. He only appeared on the special forces show because he admitted he needs money to provide for his 8 kids from various baby mamas. It's getting sad.

And that’s just it, literally NOBODY was talking about Cam in the media when he came out and said what he said. There was no need to remind everyone of his personal greatness and double down by calling his teammates losers. Why feel the need to knock others to elevate yourself?

I don’t think Cam knows what to do without the limelight and attention, be it positive or negative. He is confirming, and even admitting to the negative personality traits that he has been accused of.

Whatever slim chance he may of had at Canton is pretty much dead now. The respect of his teammates, he just shot to all hell, so the MVP award that he holds in highest regard may be all he’s got left.

Oh, Cam. He's never been the wordsmith he may think he is. But with a bigger platform on the ultimate sports clickbait, hot-take network (what was once the worldwide leader in sports), this will likely only be the first of many instances.

He said he needed money? I thought he was saying when nfl checks stop rolling in, it’s humbling. I don’t take that as he’s needing money, it’s just he’s not making as much now.

So, much for a team sport in Cam's eyes. Imagine how he blamed his teammates all those years for holding him back? Cam valued MVPs over SB championships.

Cam's MVP came from that defense & running game. Cam wasn't blowing teams out with his passing. It was short fields, turnovers and rushing.

Jonathan Stewart, Thomas Davis, and Charles Johnson were those losers that carried Cam's passing inefficiency. Cam had 8 losing seasons in his 11 years. That's with Kuechly & Davis running that league leading defense placing in the top 10 in 2012,2013,2014,2015 & 2017.

The Panthers took Cam Newton #1 but we all know he was over valued. I wouldn't have taken him in the top 20 picks. He was not more valuable than a Lamar Jackson or an Aaron Rodgers coming out of college. The move I wanted was to trade down for JJ Watt, Robert Quinn or Cameron Heyward, and get extra picks to trade up for best available 2nd round QB.

I was good with Jimmy Clausen, Armanti Edwards, Andy Dalton and Derek Anderson battling it out in 2011. I was up for trading for Brian Hoyer to compete. I had my eye on Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins as possible QBs in 2012. I know many fans wanted Luck & had their eye on Wilson too.

Learn from Cam Newton and Bryce Young. Stop reaching for QBs at the top of the draft. Build core defense 1st & grab the rare pedigree or freak skill position players on offense like Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Mike Evans, Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk, LaDainian Tomlinson, or Christian McCaffrey.
