I heard that Pike wasn't on the team anymore.

Some rednecks saw him throwing a football and kidnapped his ass. Apparently they thought he was some kind of magical wizard that could create ducks from footballs.

but based on what I saw of both player Pike was extremely inconsistent whereas Clausen had really good accuracy at times to put throws in very small windows. Pike played in a system which boosted his numbers, Clausen played in a traditional offense and played behind a horrible line. Clausen is just starting to break out, now that he has the tools he can be the second best ND QB ever.

Not sure if serious...? People dont understand how much Clausen carried the entire ND program while he was there. Ive seen every game Clausen has played and been to few of them, ND wins no more than 3 games at the most the last two years he was there without him. Calling his defense, OL and running game pathetic is almost a compliment, they were atrocious. When Duke university has a better running game and defense than ND you KNOW its a problem. Weis couldnt develop talent at any position besides QB and WR/TE.

Not at the NFL level right now simply because Clausen is used to taking snaps from under center, etc...

I think Pike has allot of potential, but right now Clausen is a much more finished product.

Pike not only needs to put weight on his frame, but he also needs to learn a pro offense, and defenses. Pike is a project if there ever was. He does have very good potential, but it won't be seen for at least 3 seasons.
