Nothing but ballsy yet reasonable predictions thread.

Williams and Stewart both rush for over 1250 yards and 15+ TDs each.

Martin leads the team in INTs.

Martin, Beason, Davis, TYLER, Williams, Stewart, Gross, Kalil, Otah, Smith, and Moore all make the probowl as 1st or 2nd teamers.

Panthers go 4-0 in preseason.

Edwards passes for a touchdown, rushes for a touchdown, catches a touchdown, and returns for a touchdown all in the same game.

Lafell, Edwards, and Jarrett combine for 1200 yards and 9 TDs.

Nobody in the NFC South has a losing record.

The Browns make the playoffs.

Julius Peppers has a record setting season and it pisses half the board off.

I'm not too reasonable on some but it's no fun.

Matt Moore throws 23 td's. Jarrett catches 5 of them.

Stew and DeA BOTH make pro bowl.

Panthers lead the league in takeaways.

I'd make some revisions. Jarrett will not catch 5, but he will catch either 4 or 6. Yes, what a way to "outdo" your prediction, but 5 doesn't sound right. 4 or 6; your pick.

Hmm... you're good at predicting things. I'll take your word on the pro bowl.

Panthers 2nd in takeaways. As a side prediction, Jets will be exposed when Revis isn't the shutdown corner this year that he was last year and are ranked horribly in pass defense.

And one for years from now: Smith makes the HOF.

fiz makes an adolescently-arrogant post that ends up being full of wrong, then backpedals by claiming drunkenness and posts funny gifs to save his rep

You can't predict things that have already happened, especially when they have happened so many times before...

One rookie and/or backup will show flashes in preseason and then be annointed the secret savior despite the fact he does nothing all during regular season.

Jonathan Stewart will be labeled as injury prone despite not missing a game due to injury.

We will lose a gimme game and destroy a team we have no chance against.

Our defense will be in the top ten in pass D

my "Ballsy" stats are

Ok, but do you preserve your rep by posting pictures and gifs in the social forums? I'll go ahead and say yes you do, and if you stop making threads in the LL forum I'll kill you.

Ok, you're pardoned....except when you make a thread that links a writer or article that makes a prediction about the Panthers that eventually gets proven wrong.

:D

Sorry folks. I'm a little under the influence of half a gallon of Maker's Mark.

Ha! I get more rep for my humor!!!

Charles Johnson has more sacks than Julius Peppers but only if you include playoff games.

Brown has the most regular season sacks.

Sherrod Martin leads the team in Interceptions.

Godfrey forces at least two fumbles.

Armanti Edwards finishes the season with 4 or more touchdowns.

DeAngelo breaks more 20+ yard runs than any other back this season, or ties Chris Johnson.

Steve Smith has over 1000 yards and 10 touchdowns receiving.

Jarret catches a touchdown pass.

Panthers finish 11-5 and make the playoffs.

We have a top 5 running game, a top 10 passing game, a top 10 pass defense, and a bottom 10 rushing defense.

I predict that at least 1 of the O linemen will play all 16 games.

I predict that Marshall will sign his tender but get replaced by Munnerlyn by season end.

I predict Fiametta has another concussion and that Jackson replaces him by season end.

I predict Clausen gets playing time once we are officially out of the playoff race.

I predict that Edwards gets 4 TDs running the wildcat and catches 4 more on passes. By season end he is our number 2 receiver.

I predict Fox gets an extension offer but he leaves for greener pastures (more money elsewhere).

williams and stewart average one TD per game

panthers break record for most rushing TDs in a season (currently is 36, we had 30 in '08)

panthers QB sacked less than 20 times and throws less than 10 INTs and 20 TDs

steve smith 120 rec/1500 yards/12 TDs

Panthers defense 25+ INTs, 35+ sacks, and (again) give up less than 20 points per game.

panthers special teams are top 5 in returns and return coverage.

panthers sweep the NFCS

No way in hell you can call yourself a fan of a team and predict this sort of BS. Unless you are Tampa or Cleveland etc...
