Their reputation makes them even worse. They know they have a rep for being insufferable assholes and they wear it like a badge of honor and play it up. Maybe the best response really is to stop acknowledging it.

Yep. I live in Virginia and was watching the Washington Tampa game at a bar. Some eagles fans stayed after their win and just heckled Washington fans the entire time. I (not caring about the game) went up to each table and just said ignore the dildos - they want a reaction from you. Impressively, most of the Washington fans there did ignore them and they were getting so pissed off. I literally just laugh at them and said out loud this is why every other fan base thinks y'all are douchebags.

I'm glad the Chiefs lost in embarrassing fashion. I just wish it had been any other NFC team in the playoffs besides the eagles that could have done it

I watched this game with a profound amount of disinterest, but I did watch it.

Lady Cowboy Fan was cheering against the Eagles (no shock). Her son was cheering against the Chiefs because he dislikes Mahomes for all the calls he gets. Outside of that, the rest of the family was no more interested in the outcome than me.

It was a decent evening, at least.

And now...the offseason.

I guess I would consider the Eagles the underdog in this game, and due to geography It's the more local team if you consider yourself an east coast person. I would have rather watched an Eagles-Bills game.

Would have liked it better if it had been the Panthers, but as an Eaglrs fan it was great watching Mahomes and Kelce with hangdog  faces. I thought we should have beaten them during the season and they weren't nearly as good as their record. Philly dominated them all night. Watching them get embarrassed in front of everyone was just awesome.

It is somewhat appropriate in a season with sort of a defensive resurgence, the team with the best defense won the game.

And both teams were top defenses on the season.

First Superbowl I didnt finish probably since I was in elementary school. What a terribly uninteresting game. Whether it was my disdain for both teams, having to listen to Tom Bradys incompetence or whatever other reason I was incredibly disinterested in the biggest sporting event of the year.

As an aside, I just can't get over our game with Philly.

Despite the worst run defense in the history of the NFL we were a dropped XL touchdown away from dick slapping the Eagles in their own house.

Played the Chiefs close too.

The optimist in me will just look at last night as support that we're closer than we think.

The way we finished the season has my hopes as high as they've been in years.

@Icege remember arguing with me about how good you thought this years Chiefs team was?

Yeah...

Still made the SB and Bryce still played the Iggles close soooo not sure what kind of dub you think you've gotten yourself 😮

At least the halftime show was fun. Was better than the game. 😄

    • Every team has stories but as curious as I am I kinda hope these stay buried. Cam should apologize and straighten up his references to his old teammates. If he's pissed at the org, be pissed at the org.
    • That's not my point, I'm just saying it's a very micro way of looking at it. As I said to someone a week or two ago when they said "we need high draft picks on the defensive side of the ball" That's just a flawed way of looking at building a roster, we need to have impact players on the defensive side of the ball, not necessarily high draft picks, they're two different things.  Everyone keeps talking about going all defense in this draft, but the reality is we need to just forget about the draft right now and focus on defensive FA's. If we target and sign the right players in FA, namely not trying to spread our cap around but sign 1-2 serious impact players with at least one being a pass rusher, then it opens up all sorts of draft possibilities.  Even if we went defense with every pick of our draft, they better not be the most impactful newcomers on the team next year, as it then means we screwed up our free agency.
    • There are some signs that they are going to keep him--getting rid of some of their training and conditioning staff--when they go back to grass on the field, I will see that Tepper is on board.  Horn has missed 25 games (more than a season) and I think the field and perhaps the training staff had something to do with his rehab.  They do make a difference.  Furthermore, they lost Brooks again for another year--which may have been the last straw for them.  It is interesting (to your point).  My comment was not based on what I would do--it was based on what they might be thinking (not to say that you were assuming it was my idea).  I look at management from their perspective--not mine.  Any good GM would consider the injury history.  Until we go back to grass, I will assume Tepper is not interested in this aspect of team ownership. Regardless, giving a player who has missed a season and a half in four years a lucrative contract is risky, and that risk needs to be minimized by considering all variables.
