Petrowski signs With Carolina Panthers

Petrowski's agent David Higgins told Sports 10 that Jamie flew to Carolina Tuesday, took a physical and worked out for the team. Higgins said the Panthers were impressed with how good of shape Petrowski is in.

When does Jeff Kings contract with the Panthers end?

Well considering we have Rosario and Barnidge do we really need King? Barnidge came around last year. He is big and has speed but I don't see him being a great blocker like King. King is going to want a good pay check and he is a great TE that makes the big catch and can block well. Considering we are a run first team we might need to sign a TE that can block and keep him on our practice squad so if we loose king we won't have to look for his replacement. We can use Rosario and Barnidge for recieving situations and Petrowski for the run game should we loose King.

The Colts usually make great decisions with drafting and signing undrafted players. This year I don't see any way in hell that he would make the team but he would make a great practice squad addition.
