1995:

Deep Blue Something - "Breakfast at Tiffany's" First cassette I ever bought myself.

TLC - "Waterfalls"

Coolio - "Gangsta's Paradise"

Seal - "Kiss from a Rose"

69 Boyz - "Tootsie Rool"

And I was 8-years old. Good times.

Our dads were playing poker along with some of thier friends...about 20 of them in all.

We (my buddies) were stealing beers since they were all too hammered to know what was going on.

Classic Rock was playing much too loudly, and I can distenctly remember falling in love with what was pouring through the speakers....Clapton, and Bad Company I can recall the most from that night.

Learning to drink, and being exposed to way too many decibels of classisc rock, and I was hooked forever.

I spent hours as far back as the early 70's, in my room, using an old tape recorder, recording songs off the radio! Neil Diamond was a very popular choice from what I remember...then Queen...I spent alot of time listening to Queen as a young child

1982 shortly after MTV started.

I recall waking up at night if "She blinded me with science" came on. I slept with the radio on

Men at work "Down under"...was so disappointed that the video wasn't super awesome.

J geils band...centerfold seemed so naughty at the time.

The best song from 1982 was "Every little thing" by the police which i didn't even like at the time.

good times

Funny. My dad had a sweet dual tape deck. Creating the perfect mix tape off of radio was a freaking full time job. It pissed you off when the talked over the start or end of a song.

no poo eh?! You know...funny thing, just a short time ago I threw away the last of those tapes too...had them a long time. I do still have a reel-to-reel in the basement though with two reels of radio recorded songs!
