That's stupid. I've never believed that "ghosting", or holding the smoke in as long as possible, makes you any higher. Most of the THC absorbs within 2-5 seconds, any longer and all you're doing is allowing the tar and plant particles to rest in your lungs.

There is more to the high then just the THC. There are also cannabinoids as well that contribute to the high. Also it has been speculated that it is also caused by your bodys natural response to the carcinogenic qualities (which ironically THC has been shown to fight cancer cells which is why long term use doesn't cause lung cancer).

But I would also agree after 11 seconds your definitely not getting any more high and only causing more harm.
