For the record I don't fault them for taking Clausen (his value was unimaginable at the start of the draft) but to be honest I don't see how this can work out for us. Think about it. If Moore comes in and gets us to the playoffs he most likely will get a extension and Fox as well. If he comes in and struggles most likely Fox is out of a job and most new HC will look to bring in there own QB.

If he does well Clausen will most likely get traded by the start of his 3rd year and unless he gets some starting exp he wont probably have too much value left. Like I said would have went with Tate personally but I still don't mind the pick at all. It is what it is I guess we will have to wait until after this year to see if how it plays out.

Hard to say what will happen. Who knows who the coach will be. If it a guy like Gruden we will have 4 or 5 quarterbacks on the roster and draft a few more.

If moore plays well enoughto get a new contract with the team, clausen will still be kept for at least another 2 years after this season. There won't be a lot of value for him, plus it gives him the time to learn without being under fire.

Chance are Clausen gets a 5 year deal for around 4-5 million a year. We would be crazy to get rid of him while he is cheap unless we needed a high round draft pick. I doubt we get anyone better for cheaper. I expect he will get his chance to play eventually.

Yup. There really is no reason to get rid of clausen, even if moore is getting it done.
