When the game is on the line, in the final minutes of the 4th quarter, Ben is clutch. That's what makes a great QB great. Ben wins, and wins when it counts. Rivers doesn't.

Just ask the Cardinals, the Packers, and every other team Ben made great plays against in the closing minutes to win.

And Schaub? Please. He's good, no doubt, but he doesn't even belong in the same sentence as Ben or any of the other elites.

If you could pick who you would want as your QB for a team that you root for or own would you choose Ben over Rivers?

To rank them fairly, you'd have look at each QB exclusive of his current or past teammates, and you'd have to disregard any past accomplishments, and just look at what each individual brings to the field today.

That means looking at physical health, mental health, confidence, leadership, intelligence, accuracy, strength, and endurance, plus intangibles like stadium interaction, charisma

TOP TIER:

1) Brees - he can do the most, with the least, and INT's are rare, intelligent, durable

2) P. Manning - the best true QB General in the game, durable

ELITE:

3) McNabb - the most underrated QB in football history, not durable

4) Brady - has the most rings, intelligent, but his last season was bad for a reason

5) Roethlisberger - He's a douchebag, but he is durable, accurate, unpredictable, hard to tackle, persistent, and salvaged a weak team

PLAYMAKERS

6) Favre - durable, unpredictable, great charisma, exceptionally aggressive. too many INTs

7) Ryan - makes lame receivers look good. natural leader, intelligent. too many INTs

8) Rivers - played well with gifted team, natural leader

9) Rodgers - played well with gifted team, lacks charisma

10) Romo - durable, unpredictable, aggressive, but maturity and leadership problems

11) Palmer - Still capable (barely) of winning games offensively without the help of a running back?!?!? Impossible to fathom what could have been with a decent rush attack.

FRANCHISERS

12) E. Manning - Persistent, accurate, intelligent. Lacks aggression

13) Derek Anderson - terribly underrated, in Arizona will outdo his best season in Cleveland.

14) Flacco - Heavily dependent on the run game. natural leader, intelligent

how is PManning better than Brees? Brees has been the best QB in the league statistically for the past few years, and would have gotten an MVP if Manning wasn't the NFL's pet.

Manning = crumbles under pressure, average at best post season QB. I only say average because he got a ring, but let's be real for a second. It was against Rex 'fug it I'm goin' deep' Grossman lolz.

Just because you dislike the team doesn't mean you have to deny how good he is.
