How would you rank the starting QB's? Where would Matt Moore fall in the list? I would have him at least in the top half of the league.

1. P. Manning Ind

2. Rivers SD

3. Brady NE

4. Farve Minn

5. Brees NO

6. Rodgers GB

7. Roethlisberger Pitt

8. Romo Dal

9. Flacco Bal

10. Schaub Hou

11. McNabb Was

12. E. Manning NYG

13. Ryan Atl

14. Moore Car

15. Sanchez NYJ

16. Palmer Cin

17. Young Tenn

18. Cassel KC

19. Henne Mia

20. Kolb Phi

21. Cutler Chi

22. Stafford Det

23. Freeman TB

26. Campbell Oak

27. Orton Den

Seems to me that the national media should give Matt more credit than what they do.

I'd put him right at, or just below the half way mark. And he'll stay there until he begins and finishes a season as a starter. Giving him more credit than that when he's pretty much just been your eight inning man isn't fair.

Brees better than P manning? lol what are you on...Farve is #1 career wise IMO but manning is close, manning is #1 now.

I would put matt moore around 15-20, right now I think he can be compared to Eli manning, even though Eli has accomplished much more in his career. With all due respect to Moore and my favorite team, he has only played a half season of games, to rank him any higher than 10 would be foolish.

Looks like your pretty much putting Moore on the bottom of the good/great QBs, and then everyone after Moore is younger (career wise) or washed up.

I'd drop Brady a few places, but honestly, I can't really say anything besides the top two (it's too close - I'm factoring in clutch performance that I have seen from them as well).

I'd have Manning and Brees as #1 and #2 due to their success in the post-season as well as their regular season performance. Sure, Brees only did something this past year, but they did it very well.

I think Young and Henne are probably better quarterbacks than Moore, but I might be saying differently once we see Moore play a full season as our starter.

I'm not one of those guys that thinks Moore still has something to prove, but we really didn't ask him to exclusively win games for us last year. And that's fine -- this team doesn't need a Brees or a Manning to win games.

I'm not saying Moore can't put this team on his back and win some games when the running game's not working, just that I don't think it's happened yet.

I liked Moore's performance, or more of just not making bad plays and decisions like Jake. Moore let his offense play and didn't make the big mistakes at the end of the season when the Panthers really weren't in any contention anyway.

To me, that doesn't rank him in the top 10 qbs in the league, that would be a stretch. I would rank him between 20 and 25 right now, only because he hasn't really proved he can handle being the starter and all the focus that goes along with that, Jake was still on the team although the writing was on the wall. Just my opinion though.

This year will be Matt's chance to get the Panthers to the play-offs and make a name for himself.
