I like our situation compared to the other teams in the article. The Steelers don't have to worry about on-field performance (after game 6 anyway), but off-field issues with Roethlisberger would leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Good write up and I love that Matt Moore is getting his due in this article

we haven't even been to training camp much less preseaon. what else would you expect at this point?

i assure you, and remember i said this now, after training camp and heading into preseason, it will be a true comptition for the position and not just a given that moore is the starter.

???

because he won some games?

because during his best season Jake was considered by everyone to be a game manager and not a franchise QB?

because he kept his job in spite of never having back to back winning seasons?

PC, I think it is pretty well known and clearly stated in this very thread that he only has a couple of faults and those are loyalty to players and difficulty with trust especially at the QB position.

wtf are you talking about "people think he still needs to prove himself"? Who thinks that or has said that?

If he wanted to address his only obvious issues he would address loyalty and making a tough decision about the QB. settle down dewd
