When Clausen does hit the field, he will find himself operating a play-action offense that feeds off a power running game. That style of offense transformed Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco into playoff quarterbacks in their rookie seasons in 2008.

didn't I post a topic earlier about how Clausen was in a position to succeed because of the strong running game, low pass attempts, and decent/strong defense.

it is pretty obvious but when you actually see it layed out it's very striking. I think I said that in the original topic.

Mark Sanchez with all of his crappy games had the #1 Defense, the #1 rushing attack, and ranked 32nd in attempts.
