Medal of Honor

Decided to make a thread for the upcoming addition to the Medal of Honor series. It's set to be released October 12, 2010. I think that is about a month before the new Call of Duty is expected to be released. I'm hoping this game will be really good, and should give the new CoD a run. The game engine used looks similar to MW2, but I admittedly know little about game engines.

Hmm. Interested to see a dead franchise revived. MOH peaked with Allied Assault and then got very repetitive. I really hope they don't borrow the COD gameplay formula and deliver something new and exciting instead of just another linear run-n-gun campaign with standard multiplayer modes. Pretty much looks like MW3 from the trailer though.

Yea I used to play Medal of Honor on playstation and ps2. I actually preferred them to the Call of Duty series. But you're right, this does look like a MW3 trailer. Hopefully they will make some different style game modes and stuff.

I think DICE is doing the multiplayer. So it's probably going to be more like BC2 than MW2.
