Chris McClain just posted on his Facebook account that Steve Smith wanted to go air with Florio about the Clausen post. McClain stated that Florio would not do it, that he would only follow Smith once he finished. What a total punk Florio is, he is an complete idiot!

Cowardice is defined by a person that will not stand by their convictions in the face of its critics, even if it means bodily harm or certain death. If you're so much of a sad sack that you can't even stand sitting in the same room with somebody you made up a rumor about, then that's probably as good of a time as any to stop making up stories.

Quite plainly, Steve has already won the battle of public perception when his opposition refuses to appear beside him and take questions from the man himself.

The same room? This is a phone call we're talking about. Florio is so afraid of his house of cards being blown down that he won't go on the same LINE with someone he just BS'd about.

Florio has always had an obsession with Steve Smith for some reason. I remember after the 2006 season he said Smith faked his hamstring injury because he wasnt happy with his contract. He then said Smith will probably be traded next year and they'll sign Peppers to a long term deal instead. Literally one week later Smith signed an extension and now Pep is gone.

    • Happy Thanksgiving y’all. Thankful for a very good team and for this group to talk canes.  Eat drink celebrate our win bs the rags. This team is cup ready.
    • I don't think should be seen as an insult, legitimately. Teddy's floor was consistently a good game manager to his ceiling of border-line top 10 QB who's arm strength didn't blow you away but could make all the throws and generally made good decisions and had some sneaky athleticism.  Teddy started on quite a few teams. He had a good start to his career, had a horrific injury that could have ended his career, came back and played himself into being a starter, got a contract here (and subsequently became another victim of Tepper's impetuousness), and then started games for a few other teams. Teddy could have been a franchise QB had he not suffered a freak injury, and then he just never ended up in another stable situation. He still had a good NFL career that could have been great without that injury. Teddy before that injury did look like a franchise QB, and I dont think that's a bad comp for Young nor an insult in terms of what his career could be based on that comparison.
    • Absolutely the wrong take. We have to run and gun. We have zero post presence. We just have to make shots. We just can't hit water from a boat tonight and we're turning it over to boot. Then you have a poor shooting opponent shooting lights out.  Looks like a long season ahead of us though if Hubert doesn't adapt to this roster. We have to play a pressure trapping D and get out in transition because we aren't beating anyone in the half court.
