Per PFT: Judge says Williams and WIlliams must serve suspensions

n a blow to the Minnesota Vikings, a judge ruled Thursday morning that their two starting defensive tackles, Pat Williams and Kevin Williams, must serve four-game suspensions for taking a banned substance in the supplement StarCaps.

That doesn't necessarily mean they will serve the suspensions, though, as the Star Tribune reports that the players were granted a court hearing at 2 p.m. at which they will ask to be allowed to play pending their appeals.

There was speculation yesterday that in the face of looming suspensions, the Vikes might make a play for Albert Haynesworth.
