It doesn't matter what Lawrence Taylor thought.

If the NFL legend had sex with an underage girl, according to the law, it's statutory rape.

According to the criminal complaint, the 16-year-old girl told an FBI agent her pimp instructed her to tell LT that she was 19.

But under New York law, it doesn't matter if the girl lied to Taylor about her age. If the girl is underage, it's statutory rape.

The 16-year old needs to hold some responsibility...toss her ass into jail. This law pisses me off...

LT reaches for the cookies on the counter. How's the cookie? The person walking into the kitchen says. I'm Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC and we are doing a story about NFL Legends predators/adults who try to meet teens for sex.I have the chat log right here, LT. Is that accurate? LT says in response "Cocaine is totally different than steroids, Chris." LT says, "I don't want to be on the news, dawg." Chris Hanson says, "It's a little late for that, dawg." Chris continues to say, "You're free to walk out that door and you can leave right now." LT stops he knows the cops are outside the door, he turns to Chris Hanson and says before I walk out this door I want you to know Chris. LT yells while walking out the door as the cops swarm him like a pack of crazed dawgs "I played one game, and one game played me!"

How in the hell can you be pissed at the girl? Do you really think she wanted to be a prostitute?

She ran away from home and obviously didn't have a problem being a prostitute until now. She accepted that lifestyle from the pimp and could have asked for help at any time since then.

She's not blameless.

Exactly, though some would also say she is a victim in getting caught up in the "lifestyle" of a prostitute. We all know that pimps prey on young girls, and they often find themselves in situations in which they feel they have no power to get out -- and that's true more times than we want to know.
