well, I think Gross implied his intital texting to everyone (I he implied everyone) might have shown too much confidence and I thought he was implying it came off too strong to some of the guys.

it's just minicamp people, preseason, actual game play, will say a lot. sounds like some 2 bit reporter just wants to get his article read.

of course the players are going to "believe in" the guy curently named the #1. if clausen becomes the #1 then they'll "believe in" him too. they all "believed in" delhomme last year up until his pinky gave way then suddenly they all started "believing in" moore.

Good grief. Somebody told me that PFT was supposed to be more mainstream and respectable than when they first started out, but apparently I was lied to. That site is obviously still the National Enquirer of the NFL.

i've said that florio is more reliable than schefter but i'm not sure i have called either one of them all that accurate. both throw crap on the wall to see what sticks. PFT and florio has gotten better about crap sticking to the wall but there is still some stuff that just slides right off...kind of like this story.
