I'm excited about this. I actually had a Blackberry Curve for awhile with Verizon service and I was using the NFL app from Spring which I downloaded and somehow worked. I just switched to the Droid and the Spring app wouldn't load, so I'm glad to see they realized a app for Verizon and the smartphone line.

The radio broadcasts were a major plus.

Wow wow wow, what an awesome app! Thanks so much for pointing this out. I can't believe how smoothly it runs, that's the real kicker. None of the goofy stuttering and such that you normally get with wireless connections to video. My productivity at work may have just taken a major hit...

I know this is an old thread but I must point out that if you go and open the NFL App up it will redirect to you a new version in the Android Market with a much better UI and updates to news and all that. It looks better graphically on the phone too now.

ITs only on Verizon, they bought NFL Mobile from Sprint at the time of the draft. IF you got Sprint, you just got shafted.

There is an "unlocked" version of this app on DroidForums. If he hasn't already, I will notify the original unlocker of the app to do so for the latest version of the app and when he does I will let everyone else know here.

Unlocking the App to make it not check to see if you are on Verizon allows people on all carriers to install and use the NFL Mobile App, so long as they can install .apk's

The original version I posted of the "unlocked" NFL Mobile app was confirmed to work on ATT and Sprint. Nobody from T-Mobile posted if it worked or not. There are a lot of hacks going on over at the forum. I will see if he posted an updated unlocked version of the new app and report back either later tonight or tomorrow since its going to be a long day.

Verizons TOS? One of the guys who helped figure out how to do works for them at an Executive level.
