Yes, but you can find better production for what he was getting paid.  Dudes on minimum contract can do better.

He has shown his willingness to renegotiate his contract to keep from being cut.  I would bet he will not get any offers and would play for vet minimum.  I agree with you 100%---just thinking they could sign a vet at bottom dollar who knows the system---more of a fear than a thought---but I could see it happening.
