I agree with your take He’s made a couple throws these last two games with some big time anticipation. Which was supposed to be one of his strengths coming into the league. Bryce has taken more shots downfield as well. Even just throwing a couple up to Sanders this past Sunday that led to positive gains. One by completion the other by PI. Bryce wasn’t doing those things last year. There’s for sure been progress made but again small sample size. Like you said about the screens to counter the blitzes I think we saw some similar calls in Denver where the play design wasn’t to get a first down but just to get the ball out quick and not have Bryce take a sack or get hit. I think his personal life/gf situation was playing a bit of role early this season as well. Bryce was smiling throughout the game on Sunday and I don’t remember ever seeing that before. Hopefully he just starts playing more freely and we’ll see what happens. -
