Man Cave Quesiton - Re: Autographed Nike Jerseys

Recommended Posts

Currently finishing my basement and want/need some Panthers related memorabilia down there. I thought I’d have no issues finding an authentic, Cam Newton and/or Steve Smith signed Nike jersey to display on the walls. However, the usual sites are all out of stock and even eBay is scarce. Most of the jerseys are custom and Cam’s signed jerseys aren’t out there like I thought they would be. Peppers and Kuechly seem to be all over, Cam and Smitty… not so much. Thought it was strange. If anyone knows of any or stumbles across them please let me know. If anyone is willing to sell one of their own, let me know! Keep Pounding.

Might be tough to find Nike Smitty jerseys, I could be wrong, but off the top of my head, I feel like the Nike deal to take over our uniforms started right around Cam's rookie year (maybe actually his 2nd season), which wouldn't leave a ton of time for there to be Nike Smitty jerseys out there to find, I know my Smitty is a Reebok.

Good luck on your search.  I was lucky and got a Muhammad jersey autographed by the entire ‘03 NFC championship team as well as an inaugural team poster autographed by J-Rich and the front office.  My prized possessions.

Are you only after a Nike Cam? I have an autographed Reebok game from his rookie 2011 season from nfl auctions. I had planned on displaying it, but never got around to. Haven't really thought about moving it, as I don't really need the money currently, but I'm willing to listen if the offer or trade blows me away.

That’s unreal. Unfortunately, likely out of my price range given its game issued or worn it appears. Appreciate you sharing!

Put my Rick voice on from Pawn Stars .

Do you know how hard it would it would be for me to move this? I don't have many people coming to my house looking for Cam jerseys. The best I can do is $100 dollars and I'm taking a huge risk here. We got a deal?

Ive had a chance to buy a few pieces of Panthers autographed, one was a nearly full team signed 2015 football. Each deal, there was no paper work or proof. I told them no chance I could even 80$ for what maybe a 20$ half white football. It looked real and so did the other stuff, but they are soooo good at fakes these days.

good luck bro..

I never went to camp with Smitty on the team so can’t speak to him but Cam at camp almost exclusively autographed for kids, and there would always be a massive crowd around him and he couldn’t get to everyone so probably less of his autographed jerseys that were acquired strictly to flip. I got most big names from the 2014-15 teams. Best one I got was a McCaffrey autograph on pretty sweet photo that I haven’t framed yet but will, I think I got Donte too and that was it in that later year.

I don’t actually have a mancave spot yet but have been slowly over time adding stuff to the collection for when I can put one together

    • 65th in pass blocking rate is the issue. This isn't 1985 anymore. You're not paying LTs to be road grading run blockers.  He's above average for a starting LT as a run blocker. He's well below average for a starting LT as a pass blocker. The issue is that you're paying LTs primarily to be pass protectors.
    • Rd 1. Walker ESPN went big for the Carolina Panthers in their latest 2025 mock draft. This time, the worldwide leader enlisted the expertise of both Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates—who went pick for pick over three full rounds. Kiper Jr. started Carolina's haul with the obvious prospect at Pick No. 8, Georgia linebacker Jalon Walker: Carolina had big-time defensive issues last season. Walker can roam the second level with his sideline-to-sideline speed or fly off the edge to get home on the quarterback. The Panthers have to get some difference-makers on that side of the ball. Walker, the perceived frontrunner for the selection, played both off the edge and off the ball for the Bulldogs in 2024. He recorded a team-leading 6.5 sacks en route to capturing a first-team All-American selection and the Butkus Award.   rd  2. OT Ozzy Trapilo No. 57—Boston College offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo  Carolina must think offensive line early in this draft with a bunch of guys in contract years. Trapilo would be appealing for the Panthers as they try to improve Bryce Young's protection. One of those guys in a contract year is longtime starting right tackle Taylor Moton. The 6-foot-8, 316-pound Trapilo could serve as a depth piece in 2025 and a possible heir apparent to Moton, who turns 31 years old in August.   Rd 3 DL  Tyleik Williams Kiper Jr. wrapped up the pull at No. 74, with Ohio State defensive lineman Tyleik Williams: More defense for Carolina. Williams is stout against the run but also shows the quickness and suddenness to penetrate the backfield. He had 21 run stops over the past two seasons, which is good news for a Panthers team that allowed a league-worst 5.2 yards per carry in 2024.
    • As most now know, because of my topic about trading Moton, I think Tackle should be pretty high on our wish list. We have a guy at LT who most on this board still don't trust, although maybe last year was the year the lights turned on, and an aging RT who is going to want a contract that keeps him here as a starter until he retires. I just don't like the position we are in at the tackle position. JMO.
